  • Process Plant (NZC Level 3)

    The purpose of this qualification is to provide the energy and chemical plant industry with competent employees who have attained the operational skills and knowledge required to work as entry-level plant and machinery operators.

  • Boiler Operations (NZC Level 3) (Operation of a boiler <20 MW liquid or gas fuel, OR <6 MW solid fuels)

    Building on from the learning of Level 3 Plant and Machinery, the purpose of this qualification is to provide the energy and chemical plant industry with competent employees who have attained the operational skills and knowledge required to work as entry-level Boiler House attendants.  

  • Responsible Person – Boilers (Level 3)

    The purpose of this program is to provide the energy and chemical plant industry with competent employees who have attained the operational skills and knowledge required to work as Boiler House (unattended) Operator Responsible Persons.

  • Field Operations (NZC Level 4)

    The purpose of this qualification is to provide the energy and chemical plant industry with competent employees who have attained the operational skills and knowledge required to work as field or advanced Steam Generation operators.  This qualification is suitable for individuals working as field operators in an energy or chemical plant, who have experience working in this field.

  • Boiler House Management

    A guide for Controllers, Managers and Operators of Boiler Houses with options for Standard Operating Procedure templates or development for your Boiler House.

  • Refrigeration (Level 4)

    This program aims to provide the refrigeration industry with competent individuals who can operate and supervise refrigeration equipment with the knowledge and skills to meet the PCBU requirements.

  • Control Room Operations (Level 5)

    The purpose of this qualification is to provide the energy and chemical industry with experienced employees who have attained the operational skills and knowledge required to work as senior process or senior control room operators.
